New IUCN publication

Law, policy and dryland ecosystems in the People’s Republic of China, IUCN Environmental Policy and Law Paper No. 80, edited by Du Qun & Ian Hannam, published by IUCN, Gland, Switzerland in collaboration with ADB, Metro Manila, Philippines and the IUCN Environmental Law Centre, Bonn, Germany, 2011. This report summarizes the numerous activities implemented and documents prepared by national and local-level expert groups, and presents valuable lessons learned. It will provide an excellent reference for all stakeholders involved in the development of legal and policy frameworks to combat land degradation.
