Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law and Governance – Guest Lecture on “Transboundary Aquifers: An Interdisciplinary Conversation,” Glasgow, 22 May 2015

On Friday 22 May 2015, back to back with the World Water Congress taking place in Edinburgh the week after, the Strathclyde Centre for Environmental Law and Governance (SCELG), Glasgow, will organize a guest lecture on “Transboundary Aquifers: An Interdisciplinary Conversation”. The keynote speaker will be AIDA member Gabriel Eckstein, Professor at Texas A&M University, Director of the International Water Law Project and Former Advisor to the UN International Law Commission on the Law of Transboundary Aquifers. Prof Eckstein will be followed by a roundtable including Dr Salman M A Salman, International Water Resources Association, Dr Naho Mirumachi, Lecturer, Department of Geography, King’s College London and Prof. Robert Kalin Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Strathclyde.The SCELG Guest Lecture is supported by the Scottish Government and Strathclyde Law School.
